3.25.2010 Future Com, Ltd. Announces the Acquisition of Got Net Security
Future Com Ltd. is pleased to announce the acquisition of Got Security LLC. The acquisition is effective immediately. Got Security serves various markets under the names Got Net Security, Got Net?, Got Security, Know How Knowledge and Got Net Solutions. Serving the greater Houston Texas area, Got Net is a reseller of industry leading technology solutions. In addition to hardware devices and software, their offering consists of consulting, security as a service, data center collocation and certified training.

Future Com President and CEO Douglas Hollenshead stated that “the two companies are a natural fit. With minimal overlap in both customer base and product offering, Future Com’s customer’s will have the benefit of Got Net’s training, managed services and other select offerings while Got Net’s customers will have access to a larger portfolio of top name solutions in one stop. The integration of the companies will begin immediately and should be completed within 60 days.

5.31.2009 Check Point ends support for R62 and below
Check Point Software Solutions, the leader in Internet Security, discontinues support for version R62 of their Firewall as of May 31, 2009. Moving forward, only R65 and above will be supported. 10.20.2008 Got Net partners with DLP player, Code Green
Pure Security meets Pure DLP. Got Net Security, a security focused reseller, partners with Code Green Networks, a pure play DLP (Data Loss Prevention) provider. TrueDLP from Code Green Networks is the first solution on the market that provides network, endpoint, discovery and encryption-based DLP services.
