Michael Hamelin
Michael is an authority on security practices who has deep hands-on technical knowledge in security architecture, penetration testing, intrusion detection, and anomalous detection of rouge traffic. Michael has authored numerous courses in information security and worked as a consultant, security analyst, forensics lead, and security practice manager. He has been seen competing in hacking competitions worldwide, including winning CTF at DEFCON and Interz0ne. Michael Hamelin has been a featured security speaker around the world and is regarded as a leader in information security with 15 years experience. Michael is currently the Principal Network and Security Architect for Alpharetta based ChoicePoint. Prior to his current position at ChoicePoint, Michael was the Chief Security Engineer for security appliance vendor Resilience where he lead the security design of the product line and helped clients in the global 500 implement some of the most challenging security designs.
Topic: What lessons can we learn from a Hacker?
As we go about building security and passing audits, have we stepped back and looked at how hackers attack? What really is an easy target for hackers? What in my company is really at risk? We can learn a lot by following the simple break-it model most hackers use. If they can break, they will exploit it. Looking at an example of sql injection we can see inside the mind of a Hacker and understand why we have a long way to go in securing our infrastructure.
Adrian Hawkins
SA Adrian Hawkins entered the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) February 2003. Upon arrival to the Houston Division, he was assigned to the Houston Area Cyber Crimes Task Force (HACCTF) where he investigated computer intrusions. Currently, SA Hawkins is the Houston Division InfraGard Coordinator.

Ironport / Cisco: Erich Stokes
Senior Systems Engineering - Messaging Encryption Specialist
With sixteen years system engineering experience, Erich Stokes has spent the last four years working with email security gateways. He began his work at Dell as an Application Systems Engineer specializing in manufacturing and then, in 2003, moved over to the Messaging and Directory engineering team. In February 2004, Erich and two other engineers worked together to deploy IronPort Systems as Dell's email security gateway solution. He spearheaded efforts to globally consolidate disparate SMTP systems and establish a global email security policy within Dell. Leaving Dell, Erich joined IronPort in early 2007 where he is worked with enterprise class customers to deploy secure email solutions.

This session covers current email security technologies which can be implemented to reduce the risk spoofing, phishing and fraudsters pose against your brand. These technologies can be used to mitigate some of the inherent insecurities in the email infrastructure. Erich will briefly cover Transport Layer Security (TLS), Sender Authentication (SIDF /SPF) and DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM). Erich will share data related to the status of email spoofing in the industry and what you can be doing to address this threat.

Director of End Point Engineering, Americas
Mr. Chong has been working with Check Point for over 7 years, with 5 of those years coming from Pointsec. He was responsible for starting Pointsec's U.S. government practice and spearheading sales engineering operations in Americas for Pointsec. Besides being involved in the sales engineering, Mr. Chong is intimatley involved with the Professional Services and Product Operations for Data Security at Check Point.

Crossbeam: F. Ward Holloway III (Central Region SE Manager)
F. Ward Holloway III has been with Crossbeam Systems since 2006, and is the Central Region SE Manager. In addition to managing the field engineering resources from Texas to Minnesota, he also supports Crossbeam's largest customer, assisting with the design and integration of over 200 X Chassis and 300 C series devices deployed throughout a global service integrator infrastructure. Prior to joining Crossbeam, Mr. Holloway spent 8 years with Check Point Software Technologies in various roles including Senior Engineer for Major Accounts and 2 years working in emerging International markets as a professional services engineer and trainer. Mr. Holloway began his career with Software Academy as a trainer and regional manager, teaching introductory UNIX and Networking classes. Mr. Holloway is also an accomplished concert pianist.

Roy Agostino brings over 15 years of extensive experience in the security networking, business intelligence and consumer space. Prior to joining Packeteer, Agostino was chief marketing officer at Integrien Corporation, a provider of integrity management solutions. Before Integrien, Agostino served as chief marketing officer at Elemental Security and has held key executive and marketing management positions with Information Builders and Crystal Decisions. Prior to that, Agostino spent 10 years at NIKE Corporation, where he advanced through regional and corporate roles with key responsibilities for public relations, athlete/sport endorsements, and brand building marketing programs.
